PULZAR’S FRESH LINEUP FOR 2020
Written by Mike Nicholas on December 18, 2019
We’re absolutely fizzing to finally announce Pulzar FM’s fresh new lineup and schedule changes for 2020.
AFTA DINA MINT are joining the Pulzar team with a brand new show every Wednesday night from 6-8pm!
Made up of Andrew Ellis and Ben Moore, AFTA DINA MINT is a Christchurch based Future Bass/House duo who have been making beats together since 2018. The pair released their first single in December of the same year. Since then they have had over 20k streams across Spotify, Apple Music and Soundcloud. 2020 set to be a huge year for the lads dropping their 3rd single with UK artist Cammie Robinson plus so many more treats already in the tank!
With these lads moving to Wednesday, we’re excited to see Floot & Lucas from Beats from Below taking over Friday nights in the New Year!

The next member to join the crew is CSM, providing a wide range of Drum & Bass every Tuesday night from 6-8pm!
Christian aka CSM has already made major moves in the local scene in a very short amount of time playing a number of local gigs and support for big names such as Hedex, Crissy Criss, Kove, Flowidus, ShockOne, Lee Mvtthews and he’s still got his debut set at Rhythm and Vines to come this summer too. You’ll be familiar with his original liquid drum and bass tracks, ‘Feeling Alone’ and ‘Into the World’ which have already been playing on Pulzar FM throughout this year.
Local DJ Jeremy Meates (aka Jezza) will be taking on our Thursday student show from 6-8pm every week!
Jezzza is currently a Resident DJ at Sin on The Terrace and has previously played regularly at Engineers, Hide, Baretta and even Loco in Queenstown. He’s well and truly used to entertaining the masses in the ways of Trap, EDM & DnB. He prides himself on being able to cater to most crowds and to provide “Filthy Bangerz” in all of his DJ sets.

Gareth aka DJ Gwarden has been mixing Drum & Bass since the late 90’s when the scene in Christchurch was originally exploding, he was collecting vinyl at Galaxy Records, attending raves at Ministry, and playing out with the likes of Dose and Meltdown. After a hiatus he’s rediscovered his passion, diving headfirst into a weekly full spectrum show called ‘Future Jungle Sessions’ for local station 8K.NZ, guesting on RDU, and even writing reviews of local events for Muzic.net.nz.
We’re stoked to have Rhianna Sutherland joining us for the Monday afternoon Drive show from 3-6pm!
Rhi has a very wide taste in electronic music saying, “most of those who know me probably know that I’m a big fan of electronic music, from tech house to dnb, from trance to dubby wubby goodness.” In her spare time she loves to adventure and travel, she also confesses she loves meeting and speaking to strangers pretty often so she’s excited to do that on a larger scale.
She joins the lineup with Andy Pulzar on Tuesday, Dylan, Neema & BK on Wednesdays/Thursdays and D Latino & MJ on Friday afternoons.

It’s been a massive year for Camo MC this year releasing a number of tunes including, ‘We Are One’ and featuring on UKF not once but twice through out the duration of 2019. The new year is looking even bigger for Camo starting with him returning to join the Pulzar FM family again after a much needed break, he’s stoked to be hosting our NZ on Air show, ‘NZelectronica‘ every Saturday evening from 6-7pm.
And an already long serving member of the team, Resident and his mullet will be taking over our lunch time show every weekday 10am-3pm!
Resident’s already been smashing ‘Workday Anthems’ on Pulzar FM every Friday with hot/throwback tracks and ‘Aotearoa Selects’ with an hour of kiwi music. He’s been DJing in the local scene for a while now playing at a number of Pulzar FM events and alongside Camo MC all over the country.
Our brand new additions to Pulzar FM kick off on the week of January 13 2020 and you won’t want to miss it!
