Posthumous Avicii album to be released
Written by Mike Nicholas on April 8, 2019
A brand new Avicii album will be released in June, a year after his unexpected death.
Tim will be comprised of songs the DJ, real name Tim Bergling, worked on in the months leading up to his death.
Producers on the album say the songs were 75-80 percent done before his death. Many of them will feature frequent Avicii collaborators.
Aloe Blacc, who sang on Avicii’s hit ‘Wake Me Up’, will sing on the album’s first single ‘SOS’, to be released April 10.
Avicii died suddenly in April 2018 while on a trip to Muscat, Oman. His death was widely reported to have been a suicide.
